His performance as Esteban (the oppressive and completely inept Alcalde (sp? )) is hilarious. George Hamilton shows some good acting skills as he plays both the manly Zorro AND the feminine, gay Zorro substitute. It's from an era when it was ok to make fun of things (including homosexuals), so if you're offended by political incorrectness, you may want to avoid this movie. If political correctness isn't a must for you, you may enjoy this movie immensely. I first saw it in theaters and then regularly thanks to my father's extensive movie collection. I've been looking for this on DVD for a long time and so happy to finally have it.
