Au même moment, Jamal fait la couverture de Rolling Stone et tourne un clip avec Hakeem, à la recherche d'une nouvelle chanteuse pour son groupe... Hakeem a été enlevé et une rançon est demandée à Cookie via une vidéo. Cookie se tourne alors vers Lucious, puis vers Laz, son nouveau bookeur dont elle se rapproche.
