I had to laugh at the one trailer film rating, and let the buyer find out which one and dare them not to laugh. (Hint: the screen color for the rating is red, not the usual green. ) She certainly is a free spirit, and manipulative. And she puts that skill to use when she is hospitalized. It is difficult to separate her reality from her fantasy. If one buys it for the nudity, one will be disappointed as the movie isn't a porno or even erotic. Yo Hinomura è un killer appartenente all'organizzazione criminale cinese chiamata "I figli dei Draghi": perfetto, letale e veloce, in grado di liberarsi senza esitazione dei bersagli contro cui viene sguinzagliato. L'unica particolarità è che piange dopo aver ucciso. Per questo viene chiamato il Freeman che piange ("Crying " in lingua inglese). Ma in realtà Yo è uno schiavo di un rito ancestrale che gli impone di eseguire gli spregevoli atti che la sua organizzazione mafiosa gli impone. Quando viene visto però dalla bella Emu in azione, un'artista affascinata dai suoi modi e allo stesso tempo spaventata dalla sua ferocia, l'uomo non riesce a liberarsi della donna di cui si innamora. Gli omicidi proseguono quindi intrecciandosi alla storia sentimentale che unisce i due, finché il Freeman riesce finalmente a liberarsi dal giogo che lo opprime e ribellarsi ai propri padroni. I enjoyed the 60's kitch and the black and white cinematography! But other than that I'm not really a big fan of this genre! But for what it is I can say it was well crafted for a low budget flick! And it did manage to elicit disgust… Deeply unpleasant Jack Hill joint (+ John Lamb, who gets the on-screen directing credit. I have no clue who was responsible for what) with drugs and rape and martial arts and a creepy mask (a lot like the one from Alice, Sweet Alice). It's sleazy but there are some stylish moments that keep it from being unbearably grim. There's a party scene (largely narrated by someone doing a Bela Lugosi bit) which goes on for too long but it's fun in that wild '60s way. It's Hill's feature debut (Spider Baby I believe was filmed in '64 but released in '67--I'm not sure entirely when this was filmed? so he might have already had experience) and it's a really strong… This movie is pure sleaze but it's got style too. Then again, even though it's a cheap roughie it's still Jack Hill in charge.
